Neal Cook began his service with the District Attorney's Office in 1995. His duties include the prosecution of criminal offenses in all courts (District Court, Juvenile Court, Traffic Court, Circuit Court, and Grand Jury). The primary emphasis of his caseload is in the areas of domestic violence and child abuse.
Prior to working with our office, Mr. Cook was in private law practice in Haleyville for a period of ten years.
Mr. Cook is a graduate of Haleyville High School, a cum laude graduate of The University of Alabama, and a graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law.
He is an active member of the Ninth Avenue Church of Christ, where he teaches Bible classes, operates the worship service projection system, and maintains their web site.
